So youve started working out and want to see results? Supplements will hep you achieve what you need. There are too many supplements around, so I am posting a brief article on the essential supplements:

FOR EVERYONE

1. Multivitamin - No matter what foods you eat, taking a multivitamin everyday helps! Its a necessary supplement. And its availabel very cheap. Mean should avoid multivitamins with iron. Any brand is fine, just take it!

2. Protein powder - After any workout session, your body needs to fuel itself. A protein intake is very important post workout. There are many options, here are a few in the order of reccomendation:

a) Whey protein - Whey is quickly absorbed by the body and is highly recommended. Its also cheaper than other sources of protein. Whey isolates are the best!

b) Casein - Its a bit expensive compared to whey, but will give you a sustained release of protein. Best time to take it is before bed as the body will build muscles when you sleep.

3. EFA - Essential Fatty Acids - In order for maintaining a healthy balance of Omega 3/6/9 in the body, EFAs are necessary. Fish oil and Flax oil ae very good sources of EFAs. Take at least 2 grams a day.

INTERMEDIATE

1. Creatine - Creatine in the form of Creatine monohydrate is very good. The amount of results people see from it varies. Especially vegetarians will benefit a lot from Creatine.

I will update this article with information as it comes. For now, these should be enough to kick you into high gear!!
